Bayader for Environment & Development (Bayader) is a non – government organization established in 2007 aiming to develop the Palestinian community and society in Food security and Livelihood, protection, community development, economic empowerment and emergency response & early recovery.

Bayader seeks an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight. The Executive Director will drive the organization’s mission, manage key partnerships, ensure effective program delivery, and lead resource mobilization efforts to sustain and expand Bayader’s impact.

Develop and implement the strategic plan in collaboration with the Board of Directors.

Inspire and guide a diverse team to achieve organizational goals.

Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of projects to ensure alignment with Bayader’s mission and impact goals.

Ensure the highest standards of quality and accountability in program delivery.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, local and international NGOs, and community partners.

Represent Bayader at relevant meetings, conferences, and events to enhance visibility and advocacy efforts.

Identify and secure funding opportunities to sustain and grow the organization’s programs.

Develop grant proposals and oversee reporting to donors.

Ensure sound financial management and accountability in line with policies and best practices.

Oversee the development of annual budgets and financial plans, and monitor financial performance.

Lead and support the recruitment, development, and retention of highly qualified staff.

Foster a positive and collaborative work culture.

Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Business Administration, Engineering, Public Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in a senior management role within the NGOs sector.

Proven experience in program management, fundraising, and partnership development.

Strong leadership, strategic planning, and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and in a multicultural environment.

Fluency in English .
